Playing in my Sketch Book

This is the start of a series. I was in an Art Slump. I'm not sure why or what happened. So I just started to play in my sketch book. I started with just black ink and a brush. They were made without thinking, just using parts of my subconscience.

In my history of artmaking and mark making I've used eye shapes, circles, dots and natural organic shapes.

Sketch Book Painting

Sometimes the last page in the sketch book isn't very interesting. So in this sketch book, I decided to decorate the pages and play with colours and shapes... The size is 14 x 28cm. I used watercolour, white acrylic paint pen, posca pens and gold and silver pens.

Cookie the cat, watercolour painting

Some days I can procrastinate about making art, and some other days it just happens. Today I created this one using watercolour in 90 minutes.
This one was inspired by "Cookie" the cat, who we use to live near. He was a very cheeky cat, a big talker and player.

Sketch Book drawings...pre-historic inspirations.

Lately I've been playing in my sketch book.

"Water I" watercolour painting

"Water I", 18 x 13cm. This one was inspired by colour and texture. It has a couple of layers, of watercolour, water colour crayons, and varnish. The postage stamp was a lucky find and fits perfectly.
A close up.
