Cookie the cat, watercolour painting

Some days I can procrastinate about making art, and some other days it just happens. Today I created this one using watercolour in 90 minutes.
This one was inspired by "Cookie" the cat, who we use to live near. He was a very cheeky cat, a big talker and player.

Sketch Book drawings...pre-historic inspirations.

Lately I've been playing in my sketch book.

"Water I" watercolour painting

"Water I", 18 x 13cm. This one was inspired by colour and texture. It has a couple of layers, of watercolour, water colour crayons, and varnish. The postage stamp was a lucky find and fits perfectly.
A close up.

Sketch book...drawings and collages.

I've been in a bit of an art slump lately... after moving house and the summer holidays. But here are some works from my sketch book.

Cave Inspiration...

While on holidays, there was a special on tv, about the new cave opening. La Caverne du Pont D'Arc, which is a copy of the 'Chauvet' cave. I did some quick sketches and then later worked on them.
Today, the eldest was inspired to draw on the outdoor table, with some prehistoric animals and people. He used some chalk, which we found at the beach.
